Laboratory assessment:

Determines the corrosion rate in static and dynamic systems under high temperature environments and / or high Pressure.

Field assessment:
The main advantage of this technique is that it allows getting results in short time from the analysis of specific variables of the system: temperature, pressure, physicochemical electrolyte features, flow rate and others.

  • Lineal Polarization Resistance (LPR)
  • Tafel Slope
  • Zero Resistance Amperometry (ZRA)
  • Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS)
  • Potentiodynamic Polarization
  • Cyclic Potentiodynamic Polarization

 

The techniques can be applied to different substrates: metallic coupons (carbon steel A36, cold-rolled, hot-rolled, galvanized, aluminum, zamak, copper, steel in concrete, among others), under different electrolytes: produced water and fluids.
